VAAC Social Distancing Solo Exhibition
The Vermillion Area Arts Council invites you to participate in the Social Distancing Solo Exhibition series! To participate, set up a solo exhibition in your home or personal studio space, photograph the exhibition, and share your documentation on social media. All artists worldwide who follow the guidelines will be featured on the VAAC’s website. Professional artists, students, and creative individuals who practice social distancing are encouraged to submit photos of their artwork. This virtual exhibition will be curated by artists Aaron C. Packard and Klaire A. Lockheart.

04/17/20: All submissions must be posted
04/20-24/20: Online gallery publication on www.vaac.online
Guidelines
• Hang or display a minimum of 3 original works of art in your home or personal studio
• No media or size restrictions
• Don’t host a public reception
• Don’t invite people to see your art in person
• Wash your hands
• Photograph your exhibition (professional photography is not required unless you are a professional photographer)
• Post the photos to your social media
• No hateful, misogynistic, nudity, or racist imagery will be accepted
Submission
• Post your photos on Instagram and use the following hashtags: #vermillionareartscouncil and #socialdistancingsoloexhibition or upload your photos to the VAAC’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/vermillionareaartscouncil
• In your post description, include “VAAC Social Distancing Solo Exhibition by [Your Full Name]”
• No entry fee, but donations through www.vaac.online are greatly appreciated
