Applying for grants can be intimidating, but I want to help you feel more confident in your writing by sharing an example of a grant proposal written by a famous artist. Join me at the Unaccredited College of Klaire for the “Grant Writing Encouragement” mini lecture. After providing a little art history context, we’ll read Jackson Pollock’s application for the Guggenheim Fellowship. He wrote his “Plans for Work” in 1947. After reading his proposal together, I’ll give you a little pep talk to encourage you before your next project!
